Development of this open educational resource would not have been possible without the vision and leadership of Dr. Hussein Abaza, Director of UNEP Economics and Trade Branch in Geneva. Dr. Abaza was responsible for the publication of the UNEP EIA Training Resources Manual and was very supportive of the idea of translating the manual into an open educational resource.
Barry Sadler also played a key role in the development of this open educational resource. Professor Sadler co-edited the UNEP EIA Training Resources Manual and kindly cooperated with UNU Online Learning as the subject matter expert for the interactive multimedia and video.
