You have now completed Section 7 of 11 in this Module, Environmental Impact Assessment. To demonstrate the learning outcomes of this Section, check that you are now able to:

• Demonstrate your understanding of mitigation concepts and methods in EIA and why it is necessary;
• Devise appropriate mitigation measures for a range of particular impacts; and
• Appreciate the strengths, weaknesses and appropriateness of different mitigation options and where they should be used in EIA.
